12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, DAY 12: "THE SANTA CLAUSE"

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me.....

THE BEST SANTA CLAUSE EVER!!!

Here it is ladies and gents, the twelfth day of Christmas!  On this day, I suggest watching one of the greatest Santas onscreen in history!

Scott Calvin (played by the SORELY underrated comic, Tim Allen) is a major player in his company who is caring for his young son Christmas Eve.  Although Scott doesn't believe in Santa, he assures his son, Charlie, of his existence.

What occurs next is straightforward: Scott murders Santa Claus (which is sure to get him some coal in his stocking) and, as a result, has to assume the duty of Santa by becoming him.  (Don't be fooled by the "murder" part....it's all PG).

In the process of becoming Santa, Scott gains major weight, grows long white hair immediately after shaving, and has an uncontrollable appetite for Christmas goodies like cookies and milk.

"The Santa Clause" is an absolutely fantastic Christmas movie!  Tim Allen is such a great actor and funny comedian, it's a crime he isn't in bigger movies with the top movie stars!

I highly recommend seeing this before Christmas is over!!
