SHOCKTOBER, DAY 15: THE HORDE

 The zompocalypse has reached France!
Coming at you from the comfort of my bedroom as I get ready to call it a night after an EXTREMELY long day and a longer week already, I give you today's Shocktober entry on my Samsung Galaxy S3.  So "short & sweet"  is in full effect as using this app is a little annoying.

The Horde may not stand out from any other zombie film at first glance.  It follows the same formula as all the rest:  people have no clue zombies are infecting the area,  group is picked off one by one until it's realized there's something wrong,  everyone denies it's zombies,  everyone realizes it's zombies,  group tries to survive.

So what makes this film different?  Well the same thing that differentiates all zombie movies from one another:  the situation of the characters.

Criminals and cops unite....guess which one the black guy is....if you're racist, you got the answer right.
This film sees a team of cops bent on making a criminal pay for the death of one of their own.  They locate his base of operation and decide to take it upon themselves to administer justice.  While they battle,  they all discover that something more sinister awaits them outside of the building and they all must work together to survive!

 Creepy Factor:

This flick is quick paced,  action packed and full of jump surprises.  The zombies are runners (which I know some people dislike,  but really,  get over it)  but they are also very vicious.  The characters are cool and don't be surprised if you end up routing for the bad guys.  The single scene worth seeing this movie for is when a big old dude absolutely  mows down a group of zombies with a rail gun!

Ripping dudes up with guns since 'Nam

That's all folks.... have a good night!
