SHOCKTOBER, DAY 23: SINISTER

"I like that you made the movies longer, they are better this way"

Something evil is happening.

Sinister finds a way to creep out the viewers on a whole new level!

Ellison Oswalt (played by Ethan Hawke) is true-crime writer who is chasing his next big story after the massive success of his last big book wore off.

He decides to move his family to a house where a murder occured in order to gain material to write his next story.  He stumbles across a box of films that are labeled as family vacations and activities but are actually what appear to be snuff films.

Upon further inspection of the films, he finds that there is something incredibly evil behind the activities and aims to find out what it is because now it's affecting him and his family.

Creepy Factor:

4.8273813 out of 5 pumpkins

This movie does a tremendous job of combining classic film editing with found footage.  The situations are creepy and the outcome is one that is not easily predictable.

Nice scares in this one!
